im bored in the summer and need something to occupy me. what are some deep meaningful good books or poetry books that i should read. think along the lines of american beauty, fight club, brokeback mountain etc.
Go Ask Alice by Anonymous – the true diary of one girl’s descent into the world of drugs, sex and much more.
Cut by Patricia McKormick – a well researched tale about a girl who is sent to a psychiatric unit called "Sea Pines" because of her self-harming and does not speak.
Red Tears by Joanna Kenrick – a well researched tale about a girl who self-harms due to the pressures at home and at school.
These are all meaningful books.

Victor Hugo “Demain, dès l’aube” French Poem Aniimation

Heres a virtual movie of the great French poet Victor Hugo reading one his iconic poems “Demain, dès l’aube,” (Tome II. Aujourd’hui, 1843-1856, Livre Quatrième, Pauca meae, XIV). The poem is read superbly by Olivier Le Piouff.
Victor-Marie Hugo (26 February 1802 22 May 1885) was a French poet, playwright, novelist, essayist, visual artist, statesman, human rights activist and exponent of the Romantic movement in France.He was the third and last son of Joseph Léopold Sigisbert Hugo (17731828) and Sophie Trébuchet (1772-1821); his brothers were Abel Joseph Hugo (17981855) and Eugène Hugo (18001837). He was born in 1802 in Besançon (in the region of Franche-Comté) and lived in France for the majority of his life. However, he was forced into exile during the reign of Napoleon III — he lived briefly in Brussels during 1851; in Jersey from 1852 to 1855; and in Guernsey from 1855 to 1870 and again in 1872-1873. There was a general amnesty in 1859; after that, his exile was by choice.

3,dur-o-marjan….pearls and corals.
The subject of many books,the auther lived around peshawar area (mashu kheil) all his life.he is quoted as afghan sadi after the well known persian author,also the title mooshagaaf..the hair splitter for his fine poetry.
sher afzal khan barikoti’s book shakun-taraz , the poetry of abdul hameed baba is a great source for references…..
it is quiet common for pashtoon men to go to foreign lands to work and provide for their families.The resources at home are very limited.
The poetry deals with the fond memories of the beloved away on a journey,The lover is vocalizing his own loneliness,her beauty and the shame of staying behind at home,it hurts the ego and pride more, to bear the reverse role and separation..
