somebody can help me!!! PLEASE!!!
i’m confused about the romantic poetry and the Neo-classical poetry, then i wanna know their differences such as mind, Nature, imagination, and poetry.
i’ll deeply appreciate!!!
I’m not sure about neo-classical poetry.
The romantic poets (Coleridge etc) were into the whole god in nature thing. They believe that you had to be close to nature and open to all experiences for you to be close to god. They believed that you needed to be close to god and nature to be fulfilled as a person and to become a better person. This whole god in nature thing was their Pantheism. They tended to write about the beauty of nature and all that kind of thing. Some really nice poetry. Read Samuel Taylor Coleridge to get an idea. This is only a really basic idea of it and really doesn’t do it justice. Try doing a net search for both as there is extensive writing on the topic!
