while this song seems to glorify the introvert i think the final words of the song, and the way they are sung demonstrate that the feelings supposedly glorified in this song are because the fictional character was hurt. i think this song represents that phase everyone goes through after being hurt where they want to isolate themselves from the world rather than a static state of glorified loneliness
