3rd Austrian Poetry Slam Championship 23./24.10.2009 @ Posthof, Linz
A Poetry Slam is a competition which has participants vying for the favour of the audience using only their own material. The slammers have five minutes in which to win over the hearts of the audience with their texts. How they deliver them is up to them: shouting, whispering, howling, panting anything to give wings to their words. Admissible genres are story telling, Spoken Word, cabaret, HipHopAffines, linguistic experiments, dialect poetry, onomatopoeia in short, Slam Poetry.
The audience share the thrill of it all, take in every detail and ultimately decide who is the winner.
