Most of my poetry is thoughtful, emotional, or dark, so please consider this. I’m having a very hard time finding any magazine or ezine that pays for poetry. All of your help would be appreciated!
A note I would like to add–I do not plan on making a living by selling poetry (I know for a fact that it will never do any good if I try that). I simply have some poetry I would like to publish and be paid for my efforts. I also understand it will take time.

_Poetry_ pays $10 a line, I believe; _The New Yorker_ pays more. People work for years to get in these magazines.

You can’t make a living from writing poems even if you are one of the most widely published poets in the world.
