Sardar Ali Takar (Philosopher Ghani Khan Poems)

دغنی بابا کلامSardar Ali Takkar (born 15th of July, 1956), a veteran of the Pashto singing scene, is mostly famous for singing the revolutionary poetry of Ghani Khan. An engineer by profession, Takkar is a graduate of the University of Engineering and Technology (Peshawar). In recognition of his services to the field of music the President of Pakistan had bestowed upon him the Pride of Performance Award.

Born in 1956 at Takkar village (Thakt Bahi) Mardan, he passed his metric examination from his village school and did his F.Sc. from Government College Mardan. He completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar. Aside from this he has also attended special courses in U.K and Canada. His University life provided him more chances to exhibit his hidden talent. Initially he used to present his skills before his friends, in different musical programme in the university. But it was in 1982 when Yar Muhammad Maghmum, a professor at the historic Edward College Peshawar, wanted to celebrate an evening with the great legendry and dynamic philosopher Ghani Khan, but was unable to find a singer who was ready to meet the challenge of putting Ghani’s poetry in music. When Takkar became aware of the situation, he agreed to sing in that programme. Some people also recorded this programme on audio cassette, which got so prominence that even the music stores started selling it on regular basis. In this way, his debut album (solely based on Ghani khan’s poetry) touched the market, so incidentally. It was in those days when a programs for youths named “Zalmey Kool” (Young Generation) used to broadcast from the Radio Pakistan. Takkar for the first time not only played different instruments but also sang two ghazals in that Programs. After that, he also had the opportunity to record a programs at the Peshawar Center of Pakistan Television Vision (PTV). In 1984, Takkar left for Afghanistan. His stay in Afghanistan helped him in a way that he became able to sing poetry of those poets who were banned in Pakistan and his singing from Afghanistan also brought him prominence back at home. Rumi Poem, Iranian Music and Divine Dance

This video is on the theme of divine love, unity, oneness and the similarity of nations / religions. My only message,is that we all are ONE, but have different ways to express the VERY same feeling of longing for finding the divine within and melting with IT. My purpose in making this video was to share the feeling of UNITY and to show how similar we are.

God is separate from nothing and nothing is separate from God. We are all ONE. Nothing else matters. God loves every human being who ever lived, lives now, or ever will live.

Images are from various artists, found by google search.

The texts in the clip are written by me, Aida.

The music is from the album tittled
“Gift Of Love Vol.1″. The Artist is Deepak Chopra. The track name is “Agony And Ecstasy Of Divine Discontent”. The poem is by Rumi, recited by Madonna. The singer and the Music are Iranian.

~~~~~~~ Please ENJOY :) )
______________
After almost 500 comments some people are still arguing and insulting each other. I have no choice but disabling comments on this video to somehow stop this meaningless discussion.
Peace starts within each one of us, when we have inner peace, we can be at peace with those around us. You become what you believe, not what you wish or want, but what you TRULY believe. Never forget that our beliefs can move us forward in life, or they can hold us back. The choice is yours.
Def Poetry: A Blues For Nina (Brotha To The Night)
Love Jones ~ 2007
Darius Lovehall (Larenz Tate) is a poet who is giving a reading at the Sanctuary, an upscale night club presenting jazz and poetry to a bohemian clientele. Shortly before his set, he meets Nina Mosley (Nia Long). They exchange small talk, and Darius makes his interest clear when he retitles a love poem A Blues For Nina.
Say baby, can I be your slave?
I’ve got to admit girl, your the girl,
and I am digging you like a grave.
Now do they call you daughter to the Spinning Pulsar,
or maybe Queen of 10,000 Moons, Sister to the distant yet
rising star.
Is your Yemaya? Oh nah, it’s got to be Oshun
Ooh is that a smile me put on your face child?
Wide as a field of jasmine and clover
Talk that talk honey, walk that walk money
High on legs that’ll spite Jehovah
Shit, who am I,
It’s not important
But they call me brother to the night
and right now I am the blues in your left thigh
trying to become the funk in your right
Who am I? ‘ll be whoever you say
But right now I’m the sight raped hunter
blindly pursuing you as my prey
And I just want to give you injections of
sublime erections and get you to dance to my rhythm
make you dream archtypes
of black angels in flight
upon wings of distorted, contorted metaphoric jizm
Come on slim, your man, I ain’t worried about him
It’s you who I want to step to my scene
Cause rather than deal with the fallacy
of this dry reality
I’d rather dance and romance your sweet in a wet dream
Who am I, well they all call me
brother to the night and right now I am
the blues in your left thigh, trying to be the funk in your right
Is that alright?
